For over 20 years Streetwize has been producing entertaining, relevant and accessible publications on issues such as the law, health, employment, drug and alcohol, violence and Indigenous specific issues. Thousands of people access these and other Streetwize resources through an established national distribution network of youth, community, educational, justice and Indigenous organisations. At the core of our success is the Streetwize Process - a unique proven research method involving in depth consultation with the target group at each stage of research and development. Through this process, Streetwize has developed a wide range of products for clients including comics, animation, websites, videos, educators kits, CD ROMS and other publications. We also provide stand alone services in qualitative research, training workshops and distribution services. With no core funding, Streetwize is dedicated to developing strategic partnerships within the government, community and corporate sectors in order to deliver meaningful messages to specific social groups throughout Australia. Streetwize funders include:NSW Health, National Motor Vehicle theft Reduction Council (NMVTRC), Commonwealth Department of Employment and Workplace Relations, Commonwealth Department of Family and Community Services, Beyond Blue, NSW Office for Women, Australian Investment and Securities Commission, Aboriginal Drug and Alcohol Council of South Australia, Perpetual Trustees, The Myer Foundation, The Vodaphone Australia Foundation, Railcorp, The Australia Council, NSW Attorney General's Department, NSW Department of Community Services, NSW Department of Aboriginal Affairs, Commonwealth Department of Communications Information Technology and the Arts.
